Thanksgiving

November 23, 2011

First of all, I won’t be writing tomorrow – despite the fact that tomorrow is a holiday in the US, I have tickets to the football game tomorrow night, and my wife and I will be going to it.

Tomorrow, in the US, we travel to visit our families (or our in-laws), and we eat too much before we go shopping.

Also, I remember that I promised to only write one word a day.  Because I won’t be writing tomorrow, I’m writing a few words on “Thanksgiving” this evening.

Happy Holiday!

Thanksgiving

הודוּ – turkey (the food) (pl הודים)

חַמוצִית – cranberry (pl חָמוצִיות)
