So, for my non-Hebrew speaking readers… 🙂

I know that I haven’t written for a long time.  (Or, better, ‘a few days’.)  I’ve been very busy here…

  • I had to travel to New Jersey, because I haven’t visited my parents in a long time.  (I thought that perhaps they’d like to see their grandchildren – we haven’t traveled to visit them in two or three months.)
  • Also, I’ve had a lot of work in my office.  I work as a programmer in a large company, and this is our busy time of year.  So, I’m very tired…
  • Finally, we had Thanksgiving here with my wife’s family – my in-laws, my sister-in-law and her husband, and our nephew.

So, I did a little video for the “add1challenge” – I have to do more, yes, but I have enough, I think, when I’m ready to do it.  (If I remember correctly, my next video will be in Hebrew – I think that the video that I did will be for my next video in French…)

And I know that writing all of that probably just made the whole thing more confusing.  (As we’ve discussed previously, my Hebrew isn’t “great”, but I think I can “get by”…  basically, I shot video over Thanksgiving that I’m going to use for the next French video, since I already have something to talk about in Hebrew for the one I’ll make this weekend.)

But the fatigue and busy-ness is really causing something of a headwind with my language learning (ergo today’s title, since I’m “always tired this week”).  I’ve been quieter here because there just isn’t as much to report – I slacked, kinda, on Assimil this weekend while I was in Jersey, though I did keep up with my Duolingo and Memrise to a certain extent.  (I also was crunching through Benny’s “Language Hacking Guide” in French for practice.)  Having Memrise go down for over a day didn’t help me at all with my motivation.  It’s really more a matter of “I have so much to do and really, the language thing can idle for today”, until I feel guilty around 8 o’clock at night and double-down on it…

I’ll step it back up. 🙂  I promise.
